In the middle of Halkidiki, on the outskirts of the mountain range of Holomontas and at an altitude of 560m. is built its capital, Polygyros, (or Polygeros old), due to the healthy, healthy climate.
In the center of Polygyros, opposite the Town Hall, is the traditional guesthouse "Marelia".
The building was built in 1913 by grandfather Konstantinos Chlichlias, was deemed worthy of preservation and was restored by grandfather Chlichlias' granddaughter and her family and converted into a First Class Traditional Hotel.
The name "Marelia" is inspired by the initials of the names Maria and Eleftheria, great-granddaughters of the grandfather.
The stone-built guesthouse combines the old with the new in a beautiful marriage, giving a feeling of warmth and coziness to its guests.
