Archaeological Museum of Polygyros 

In Heroon Square, the central square of Polygyros, is the most famous museum of Halkidiki. The Archaeological Museum hosts exhibits from all over Halkidiki, which present the rich cultural history since prehistoric times. It hosts three permanent exhibitions: Finds from the archaeological sites of the region, Finds from the three settlements of Andros in Halkidiki and the exhibition of the Lampropoulos Collection. You will see findings from the old cemetery of Olynthos, and also from archaeological sites of Ierissos, Potidea and Toroni. Among them stands out the half-finished Kouros from the sea of Olympiada, dating back to the 6th century, as well as the marble statues found in Stratoni.

Folklore Museum of Polygyros

The Folklore Museum of Polygyros presents the traditional lifestyle of the past generations. It was founded in 1998 by the Women's Voluntary Association for Community Development and is housed in the renovated two-storey home of the ex mayor of Polygyros, in the centre of the town. All exhibits are donated by the residents of Polygyros and include traditional furniture and objects of daily use of the urban lifestyle, and tools of agricultural work. The design of the first floor represents the interior of a 19th and early 20th century urban house, with a reception room, living room, bedrooms and kitchen and, of course, a loom. On the ground floor there are traditional farming tools and traditional costumes of the era.

Folklore Museum of Afitos

In the centre of the village of Afitos, which has been officially classified as a traditional village, is the Folklore Museum. It is housed in a building of 1889, representative of the architecture of the area and includes objects of traditional art, ceramics, handmade fabrics and tools of daily use. The museum hosts temporary art and photography exhibitions in the summer.

Archaeological Museum of Olynthos

The Archaeological Museum of Olynthos is located in the archaeological area of Olynthos. It doesn't host findings of the area, because these are located in the Archaeological Museum of Polygyros. In contrast, it attracts the visitor's interest through photographic and audiovisual material, which presents the history and activity of Ancient Olynthos. Also, the history and development of the excavations and the discovery of the ancient village is presented in detail.

Historical and Folklore Museum of Arnaia

In the centre of the village of Arnaia, in a listed building of the 19th century, the Historical and Folklore Museum of Arnaia is housed, where you can see a rich collection of representative samples of the architectural and traditional heritage of the region. On the ground floor of the museum are exhibited examples of the region's architecture, agricultural tools and traditional folk instruments. Upstairs you will see traditional coffee-making tools, textile tools and everyday household items.

Anthropological Museum of Petralona

Near the Petralona Cave, the Anthropological Museum presents the findings of the cave and through them, the Prehistoric Greek and European Civilization. It is one of the most interesting museums in the Halkidiki region, as it includes findings dating back millions of years. Fossilized leaves, bones, stone and bone tools, the oldest fire samples and effigies of the mausoleum of the famous Archanthropus of Petralona evoke the visitor's awe.

Museum of Fishing Boats and Tools

The Museum of Fishing Boats and Tools presents, through an original exhibition, the relationship of man with the sea and fishing. In the museum you can discover old and modern fishing techniques and see all the necessary tools: ancient anchors, nets, harpoons for sea urchins, hooks, longlines. There are also re-presentations of fishing techniques and model boats. In the audiovisual room you will be in touch with the magic of the deep! Its beauty is also shown in the excellent collection of shells of the Moudania Nautical Club, exhibited in the museum!

Folklore Museum of Petrokerasa

In the Folklore Museum of Petrokerasa are exhibited objects that come exclusively from the traditional life of the village. There you will see all the objects of life of the last century: tools of all the traditional jobs of the region, costumes, weapons, religious books and manuscripts, a traditional loom, textiles. Also special are the original documents from the 18th century, according to which the village had the opportunity to host the Holy Wood on Palm Sunday.

Folklore Museum of Polychrono

The Folklore Museum of Polychrono is a new museum that was opened in 2014 by the Cultural Association of Polychrono. The exhibits are sorted into thematic sections and include everyday, household items, utensils, textile equipment, agricultural tools, bee-keeping items and all the equipment of woodworking. A special section contains photographs of the village, historical documents, maps and photographic material from the archaeological finds of the area.

Christian Exhibition in Ouranoupolis

At the last station on board for Mount Athos, in Ouranoupolis, visitors have the opportunity to visit the Christian Exhibition, housed in the Tower of Ouranoupolis, an 18th century building. On the first floor, there are icons from the 18th-20th centuries, from churches and monasteries in Halkidiki, and on the second floor there are Christian findings from excavations in the area. The visitor's attention is attracted by the icon of the Virgin Mary and Christ, which dates back to 1728.
